Welcome to our bamboo wonderland, nestled deep in the pristine jungles of Costa Rica. Qasa is a lovingly hand-built sanctuary, completed in December 2022. An eco-chic boutique hotel renowned for its transformational retreats, all cabins are handmade primarily from bamboo, and while they are protected from the elements and enclosed in mosquito netting, they are open air and have spectacular views of the jungle.
Accommodations share a stunning communal bamboo bathhouse with hot showers and thoughtfully designed amenities – simple, beautiful, and full of heart.
Whether you’re here to recharge or to reawaken, we invite you to find your perfect rhythm – balancing rest and movement, stillness and connection. Unplug, reconnect, and let nature do its magic. Digital Nomads, don’t worry – we have high-speed fiber-optic internet (100MBPS) if needed.

While some retreats and events are tailored for specific groups within the LBTQIA+ community (and clearly noted as such), Qasa hotel warmly welcomes all people – of all genders, bodies, sexualities, backgrounds, ages, and spiritual paths. What’s included:
Your stay includes your private or shared cabin, access to our communal facilities, and embodiment classes offered several mornings a week (schedule provided on-site).
Please note:
Meals are not included in the base price and are added during checkout as an optional item ($57 USD per person per night, for three lovingly prepared meals each day).

All cabins come with lights, electricity, an overhead fan, luxurious bedding and quality linens. A/C is unnecessary in our region. All cabins share a gorgeous bamboo bathhouse and shower facilities.
Price includes accommodation, use of facilities, and morning embodiment classes (such as yoga, meditation, etc) offered several days per week. This price does not include the cost of meals (meals can be added on at check-out or on-site).

Getting To QASA
Qasa is located 3.5-4.5 hours from San Jose International airport (SJO), and roughly 1.25 hours from Quepos Airport (XQP) which has regular flights from SJO on Sansa Airlines and Green Airways
After booking a stay at Qasa we will be happy to help you book a private taxi through a trusted provider.
Private taxi rates (subject to change) are approximately:
$180 from San Jose or SJO Airport
$80 from Quepos or XQP Airport
$90 from Manuel Antonio
$30 from Dominical
$30 from San Isidro
If renting a car, a 4×4 is required to access the hotel in the rainy season
The most economical option to arrive is to take a public bus to San Isidro or Dominical and then take a private taxi
